Tackle Your Rival at PS3 Madden 10, and Win Major

The soundtrack on PS3 Madden 10 is another facet that will get hardcore gamers going. The past few years have seen the soundtracks becoming an integral facet of the games, and Madden is leading the pack. PS3 Madden 10's soundtrack brings the right level of intensity, as well as a great mix of newer and older songs ("older" being a relative term here, of course). Get a load of these songs, and tell me you're not sold on the PS3 Madden 10 soundtrack: "Can't C Me" by 2Pac, "Heads are Gonna Roll" by Airbourne, "Them Bones" by Alice in Chains, "Created a Monster" by B.o.B, "Revolution" by Bang Camaro, "Sabotage" by Beastie Boys, "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath, "Get 'Em Up" by Cypress Hill, "Unsung" by Helmet, "Aces High" by Iron Maiden, "Painkiller" by Judas Priest, "I Am the Bullgod" by Kid Rock, "Reckoning" by Killswitch Engage, "Blind" by Korn, "Divinations" by Mastodon, "Hate Me Now" by Nas featuring Puff Daddy, "Breed" by Nirvana, "Walk" by Pantera, "Shut 'Em Down" by Public Enemy, "Guerrilla Radio" by Rage Against the Machine, "Gaia Bleeds (Make Way for Man)" by Set Your Goals, "Duality" by Slipknot, "Sugar" by System of a Down, "Before I Die" by The Vanity Plan," and "Cheah Beah" by Young Dre The Truth. If that ain't enough to sell you on PS3 Madden 10, maybe a history lesson will help. Maybe it's an obtuse comparison, lavishing platitudes on PS3 Madden 10, just because it blows every past video football game out of the water. But when you look at the old versus the new, you can truly appreciate the epic nature of PS3 Madden 10. At the dawn of video game consoles, one of the top requests from every hardcore gamer was a football video game for their system, naturally. Trouble was, the video game consoles' abilities weren't as fully realized as gamers' football fantasies, so hardcore gamers had to make do with what was there. In any ads or promos, the manufacturers of this one insisted "all the excitement" of the genuine article. And since it was the only game in town, this is what passed for the gridiron.

The football players look like blocky little robots. Let's get that out of the way. As crude-looking as that picture is, it's even worse when you see the game in action. This one, like all early games, suffered from the "blinking graphics" syndrome, due to low programming capacity. There's just no way to try an explain how lousy the sound was. And worse, the screen didn't even scroll. Within a couple years, things would pick up slightly, with a competing console developing a football video game. It was yards better than that first one - people looked a bit more like people, the players no longer flickered, and gamers got their scrolling screen. Still needed work, though. That one caused a huge sensation upon its arrival to the video game world, and while it set a (slightly) higher standard, this wasn't the foundation for football video games to be built on. That wouldn't come until several years down the line. This one was a big innovation for football video games, and has fans who still swear by it. For a long time, it was the gold standard by which football video games were held. It's certainly easy to see why that one was a hit - the gameplay was far more sophisticated, incorporating actual offensive and defensive strategies. Graphics and sound were vastly improved, so for many years, this was the video football game. Judging by its online revival, people still enjoy it today in small doses. That being said, PS3 Madden 10 still blows it away. When you've seen all the rest, now take a look at the best. We've come a long way, and you, along with football video games, have been the largest beneficiary. No need to keep bagging on the old stuff. We've made our point. Those games did what needed to be done, and we have them to thank, indirectly, for PS3 Madden 10. PS3 Madden 10 is in a whole different stratosphere than its predecessors, and for that, hardcore gamers have every reason to be stoked. And of course, the critics are equally enthusiastic about PS3 Madden 10, which is even more good news for fans of the franchise. Comments like "realistic and enjoyable" pepper each PS3 Madden 10 review. EA Sports has sacked all the competition with PS3 Madden 10, to nobody's surprise. Don't listen to the naysayers and the contrarians - there are few games as great as PS3 Madden 10. Sure, we love all PlayStation sports video games, but PS3 Madden 10 stands at the top, as one of the best. In the video game world, PS3 football games begin and end with Madden. This is the game for the real men, not just the little kids, when you go toe-to-toe for some serious money. PlayStation Madden 10 aficionados now get to face off for big bucks. Once you do your homework and study the playbook, you'll be in the end zone scoring points and making your rivals weep as you empty out their bank accounts.
